How It All Started
In the world of fashion, finding a handbag that seamlessly combines style and functionality can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. This is where our idea of designing a bag that was practical, functional and was simply stylish came from. As working women, we found it hard to find a bag to suit our everyday needs. We found ourselves constantly talking about how messy our handbags always were. The morning struggles of walking into work holding your bag, laptop, coffee cup etc. Talking to friends, family and colleagues we soon found out we were not alone!
Then came the list of everything we wished a handbag had.
1.Organisation Made Easy
When everything is organised and, in its place, life seems to go that little bit easier. So, your bag should be the exact same way. We wanted a bag that had multiple compartments, pockets, and sections that allow you to keep everything in order. Our tote bag comes with two large pockets ideal for phone and glasses. Two small pockets to perfectly fit pens and lip glosses or lipstick. A zippered compartment for valuables. It also has two slip pockets on the outside for quick, easy access for items you don’t want to go into your bag for.
How many times have you found yourself searching and rummaging through your bag looking for your keys? This was one of our biggest frustrations! Somehow, they would always end up hidden at the very bottom of our bags. With our keychain, simply clip your keys on and you will no longer have that struggle.
Being constantly on the go we would rarely be seen without a coffee in our hands or a bottle of water. That’s why having cup holders in our bags was a must for us.
2.Perfect For Work, School and Travel
Nowadays we have seen it’s so common to need to bring your laptop to work and home, or travelling with your laptop for work. We would often carry our laptop bag and our handbag which didn’t make much sense, so we wanted to combine the two. Inside our tote bag is a padded laptop pocket that will fit a 14” laptop. This is also ideal for students who don’t want to use schoolbags.
We wanted to make a bag that was ideal for travelling. Every time we were in an airport, we would see so many people put their handbag on top of their suitcase and wrap the straps around the suitcase handle. With our suitcase sleeve, just slide it over the handle and it won’t fall off.
3.Simple Design
Finding a bag that can do it all, while still matching every outfit is hard! That’s why we wanted a bag with a sleek and minimalistic style with the option of two different colors – black or taupe. You can never go wrong with these!
4.Comfortable and Convenient
On those busy days when your bag is filled with all the essentials it might get heavy! That's why we added the crossbody strap with extra padding on the shoulder, to make it as comfortable as possible.
These were all the things that we thought would make the perfect bag. Designing a bag that works for the modern woman and bringing this idea to life has been an incredible journey so far and we hope you love it just as much as we do!
